AltumView is one of the companies that receive the first envisAGE grant from MEDTEQ+ and AGE-WELL to enhance older adults’ quality of life.

envisAGE is a joint force between MEDTEQ+, a leader in accelerating innovation and supporting entrepreneurs in the Canadian MedTech industry, and AGE-WELL, Canada’s leading research and innovation network in AgeTech. This large-scale initiative brings stakeholders together to provide resources and support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to integrate technologies that address the challenges of aging and build Canadian leadership in the global AgeTech market.

Each envisAGE project brings together a SME, an envisAGE Beachhead or an Innovation Hub, experts that will assess the integration of the solution, and a Community Lab, such as an organization working with seniors and caregivers, in a real-world setting where the solution will be implemented.

AltumView will collaborate with the Centre for Technology Adoption for Aging in the North (CTAAN) and The Mount Continuing Care Community. to introduce AltumView’s privacy-preserving Sentinare activity sensor to senior care facility as well as elderly people’s homes.

This is another achievement of AltumView, after being selected as a winner in the Japan Keihanna Expo Global Startup PoC Challenge recently.
