The President of AltumView, Prof. Jie Liang, will be invited to present at the 4th IEEE International Conference on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS), on May 12, 2021.
The recent coronavirus pandemic has rendered our healthcare system on the verge of collapse, which pushes us to think seriously about the sustainable future of healthcare. The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, information and communication technology, cloud and edge computing, and wearable mechatronics have demonstrated the great potential to offer innovative, digital, and smart solutions to healthcare applications including diagnosis, monitoring, clinical decision support, care management and more.
In this Industry Forum session, the invited speakers will discuss the state-of-the-art, technological challenges, trends, and opportunities in digital healthcare solutions.
Prof. Liang will join Prof. Mark Wehde (Mayo Clinic) and Prof. Jamal Dean (McMaster University) in the Digital Health session, and present AltumView’s Sentinare smart activity sensor, which is a powerful tool to address the change in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
